CRAVE Mediterranean Grill – Authentic Middle Eastern Flavors & Friendly Service in El Cajon, CA

I had a great experience at this restaurant, the food tastes great, and it’s a nice and clean place! on top of that they have GREAT customer service! Would go again! And you guys should give it a try!

I feel bad for not visiting Crave sooner. My mistake. The woman working at the counter was very friendly. Although we didn't have any questions, I noted that she was very helpful to a couple that came in after us as they had a few questions. I got the Gyros Wrap and my wife got the Chicken Shawarma Wrap. Both were excellent. The light grill on the wrap keeps everything together and added a good texture. There was plenty of meat in both. I got the combo with fries and it was more than enough food. I noted that the grill on the wrap would be perfect if you got them to go. They would stay crisp and not get soggy from being wrapped up. Of course, there are a ton of restaurants with this type of food in East county, but if you want good food, friendly service, decent prices and a clean restaurant you need to give this place a chance. Rancho seems to be losing a lot of businesses these days so please support local businesses.

Staff was super friendly. There’s plenty of seats inside and outside. I just got a Greek salad with the fries and the garlic paste and it was perfect. The salad was very hearty. And the garlic paste on the fries tasted really good. My friend got meat and pita bread and that was also really good.

We haven't had Middle Eastern or Mediterranean cuisine for a while, and yes, we also do enjoy the food from this region. There are numerous restaurants near our area, especially in El Cajon, California. Cuisine from different middle Eastern countries such as Turkey, Syria, and Iraq. Tonight, we decided to try a restaurant called Crave Mediterranean Grill. This was a pleasant surprise, and we enjoyed our dining experience. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly hello and smile and the smell of delicious food. The staff member asked if we had dined there before. Of course, we said no, then she proceeded to tell us about the menu items. This was great, and I especially liked her helpfulness and great attitude. The food was delicious and they offered different sauces for your meal. With both opted for plates. The beef Shawarma was delicious. The beef was tender, flavorful, and well seasoned. The hummus was delicious, light, and creamy. The salad was wonderful, and salad dressing was delicious. The other dishes were the chicken Shawarma, and the chicken was moist and flavorful. We also ordered some falafel, which were moist and had a great flavor. It's probably one of the best we have had in this area. We were pleasantly surprised to receive an additional item from the restaurant. The gentleman at the counter gave us some free desserts, which was a Baklava cheesecake, which was delicious and the perfect ending to a terrific meal. This just shows that the owners and staff care about the customer experience. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but there is additional seating outside. It was very clean. Overall, we had a fantastic dinner with excellent service. You can't ask for anything more. To the restaurant, thank you for the wonderful experience, and we will be back What we ordered 1. We love Crave! Really nice staff, and the food is great. Extra garlic sauce is free (and delicious). Inside and outside seating. It’s a staple for us :)

Fresh and authentic! I’ve eaten here abut a dozen times and the crave makes you come back! Friendly staff and the restaurant is nice and clean! If you’re ever hungry or want to cater to your family and friends then give this Mediterranean spot a shot!

I was in the mood for middle eastern food. So, I decided to try Crave. I ordered a beef kebab plate, beef shawarma wrap and beef shawarma plate. The food came out hot, I told them to pack it to go. The beef shawarma was extremely tender, juicy and full of flavor. The shawarma plate came with yellow rice. The rice was really good as well. I highly recommend this place!!

Delicious food. Wonderful service. The best part that didn't charge extra for sauce. Enough parking. Enough varieties for Vegetarians also. Staff was very friendly. We would definitely recommend to give them a visit
